Title:

Poetry

Poetry's a bit of all of us
Scribbled on a scrap of paper,
It's the voice of the heart,
Resounding with a taste of honey.
Very often it's a wound,
Shown uncomprehending,
Rags of our mind,
Fearful of being seen.
Any poetry is a part,
Of the soul of a poet,
Asking to be understood,
Looking for the right road.
Poetry's a little peace,
A little emotion,
It's sadness, it's joy,
Invading the heart.
Whoever has a poet's soul,
Has a mission to unfold,
To write all he knows,
With others to share,
This God-given gift,
Don't keep it to yourself alone.
